01 CNBP

A Cuffless Evolution in Blood Pressure Monitoring


Continuous, accurate, and non-invasive—this was the challenge EDAN set out to solve. Traditional blood pressure measurement relied on cuffs, causing discomfort, restricted mobility, and repeated interruptions for patients, especially children, the elderly, and those in acute or long-term care.


The solution came in the form of CNBP, which uses only ECG and SpO₂ signals to measure blood pressure continuously through Pulse Wave Transit Time technology. From early prototypes to clinical validation, the team meticulously refined algorithms and signal processing, analyzing every data point to maximize accuracy and stability. 


The result is a monitoring solution that prioritizes patient comfort without compromising precision. CNBP eliminates repeated cuff inflations, reducing disruptions during sleep or daily care, while providing clinicians with continuous, actionable data. Simple, gentle, and trustworthy, CNBP redefines how blood pressure is monitored—making healthcare seamless, patient-centered, and undeniably modern.

02 PresCCO

A Seven-Year Journey Redefining Hemodynamic Monitoring


In 2017, EDAN took on a major challenge: to create a new approach to advanced hemodynamic monitoring. The focus was on delivering continuous cardiac output—providing doctors with real-time insight into a patient’s critical heart function and supporting safer, more responsive care at the bedside. The team developed PresCCO by combining two proven techniques. Dozens of algorithm models were built, tested, and refined. Even when early clinical trials showed results within acceptable ranges, the engineers and clinicians were not satisfied. They dissected every data point, revisited every calculation, and redesigned models to push accuracy closer to perfection. 


That pursuit of precision paid off. By 2024, PresCCO had achieved results on par with international benchmarks, filling a key technology gap in China. It gained recognition in hospitals worldwide for its minimally invasive design, which simplified workflows and provided clinicians with reliable insights.

03 SynSight

More Than Ten Years in the Making, A Breakthrough in Imaging


Over a decade ago, EDAN quietly planted an idea and shared in a feature with Forbes, that hinted at ultrasound’s untapped potential. Today, that seed has grown, and EDAN stands among China’s leading ultrasound solution providers, continually pushing the boundaries of innovation.


Traditional ultrasound imaging had long been constrained by limitations in resolution, penetration, and blood-flow sensitivity. These factors behind frequent missed micro-lesions. Determined to rewrite the rules, EDAN spent three years developing what became the SynSight zone sonography platform.


Powered by breakthrough dynamic pixel focusing and advanced acoustic acquisition technology, SynSight overcomes many limitations of traditional beam former process. It delivers markedly enhanced spatial resolution, uniformity in pixel level through the whole field of view, and deeper penetration, delivering efficiency improvements over 28 times. The platform empowers clinicians with unmatched sensitivity and clarity, transforming ultrasound imaging with precision.

04 Blood Gas

An Integrated Solution from Innovation to Global Impact


The story of EDAN’s blood gas innovation reflects China’s growing role in global medical technology. In 2013, EDAN broke the long-standing import monopoly in the market by launching China’s first blood gas analyzer, achieved through groundbreaking advances in micro-array chip and microfluidic technologies. 


To ensure accuracy under extreme conditions, the i15 model was rigorously tested in challenging environments including high-altitude regions like Tibet and La Paz, proving its reliability in safeguarding patient care.


In 2024, EDAN launched the i500 benchtop blood gas analyzer. Together with proprietary blood sampler and intelligent POCT management system, EDAN now delivers a fully integrated blood gas solution: customizable, automated, precise, and domestically developed. As the world’s only provider offering both POC and benchtop blood gas platforms, EDAN has established a comprehensive product ecosystem that serves global clinical needs.

05 Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation

Uncompromised Performance on the Move


Pelvic health therapists increasingly operate across diverse environments—from clinics to home visits—demanding equipment that is both truly portable and clinically powerful. Recognizing this critical need, EDAN initiated development in 2018 of a compact, high-performance rehabilitation systems designed to perform reliably across all practice settings. 


The biofeedback & stimulation system integrates 4 EMG/STIM channels and 1 manometric channel into a single lightweight device, offering industry-leading functionality in a highly portable design. Supported by patented signal feature analysis algorithms, it delivers precise assessment and effective treatment for a wide spectrum of pelvic floor dysfunctions—anytime, anywhere. EDAN further expanded its portfolio with a handheld series to address evolving clinical needs. 


Widely adopted by professionals around the world, EDAN’s solution has established a new standard in pelvic floor rehabilitation. Its success has not only elevated expectations for portable healthcare technology but also contributed to growing global awareness and engagement in pelvic floor health.

06 Through the Noise

Eliminating Interference in Fetal Monitoring


For years, the maternity ward at Guangzhou Red Cross Hospital faced a unique challenge: fetal monitor signals disrupted by nearby broadcast towers, an issue that leading brands repeatedly failed to solve.


EDAN addressed this head-on with the F9 Fetal Monitor, engineered from the ground up to eliminate interference. By combining systematic gain distribution, patented shielding, and intelligent frequency-shift technology, the F9 ensured clear and reliable fetal heart signals even in extreme environments.


Validated in leading institutions such as Beijing Maternity Hospital, and widely recognized in high-end markets including Belgium and Sweden, the F9 set a new benchmark in clinical reliability. It also established the technological foundation for EDAN’s 4th-gen monitors.

07 IQ Demodulation

Overcoming Fundamental Limitations in Fetal Monitoring


While CTG remains essential for detecting fetal hypoxia, devices worldwide have long been affected by a fundamental flaw in ultrasound Doppler: the miscalculation of fetal heart rate (FHR), often resulting in doubling or halving. 


EDAN confronted this challenge head-on by developing patented IQ Demodulation technology, which significantly enhancing the accuracy of fetal monitoring during labor. It has been widely recognized by clinical experts globally, with supporting research published in the authoritative international journal Maternal-Fetal Medicine. 


Adopted by top-tier hospitals in China and premium healthcare institutions across Europe, the technology exemplifies engineering excellence. In 2021, it was honored with the National Manufacturing Single Champion Product award, a testament to its industry-leading innovation and reliability.

08 Beyond Hardware

Seamless Connectivity Reshapes Cardiac Care Efficiency


True innovation goes beyond hardware, it lies in making devices “speak” to systems. In Madrid, the SE-1200 Pro was directly integrated with EMR, enabling ECG reports to sync automatically. This removed manual entry and delays, allowing doctors to access results instantly and focus on decisions rather than paperwork. In Catalonia, the iSE Smart ECG project extended this approach by linking hundreds of devices across the region. Whether in hospitals, home visits, or mobile care, ECG data flowed seamlessly into EMR in real time. Reports were available at once, ensuring quicker reviews and safer, continuous care for patients.


EDAN Smart ECG Web takes connectivity further. This cloud-based platform removes LAN and local installation barriers, offering secure browser access anytime, anywhere. From exam planning and device sampling to online waveform analysis, reporting, and PDF sharing, the entire workflow runs within a single platform. More importantly, it enables remote diagnostic services—clinicians in resource-limited regions can upload patient ECGs and receive accurate interpretations from specialists miles away. Smart ECG Web integrates smoothly into existing ecosystems while bringing expert cardiac care closer to those who need it most.
